The Laos 1,000 Kip banknote was issued by the Bank of the Laos PDR in 2003. The obverse side shows three women, the Wat That Luang stupa in Vientiane, and the coat of arms. The reverse side features the cattle grazing and electrical power towers. This banknote bears a solid security thread with demetalized 1000 and Lao text and contains a watermark with a hammer and sickle with a star design. The banknote measures 152 x 68 mm. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition.
