OLD LACE APRON
19th century
19th century regional costume apron, made in fine black lace.
The background is a kind of tulle on which the patterns are re-embroidered and the edge seems to be made with bobbins.
I have not found the origin of this apron which seems to be neither Breton nor Provençal. Maybe from the center of France? If you have a specific idea, I take the information with great interest!
This apron is laced at the back with two ribbons.
Total width: 470 cm reduced to 35 cm at the waist.
Length of each ribbon: 50 cm
This old apron is in perfect condition, without any wear. Some very rare points cut at the level of the tulle, but without damage.
Weight approximately 65 g, without packaging.
