SERVICE 6 GLASSES in CUT CRYSTAL from BACCARAT
19th century RESTORATION period
6 crystal stemmed glasses from the early 19th century probably coming from the Baccarat Crystal Factory, made from a clear, very sonorous crystal with dark reflections characteristic of Baccarat crystal from this period.
Gondola shaped, it rests on an octagonal foot, with an equally octagonal cut leg and a cut star under the base.
A large circular button makes the junction between the leg and the chalice which is cut with 9 large flat vertical dimensions.
The rim of the rim is thinned and circular to a height of 8 mm for ease of use.
the measures are as follows:
height of the glass: 10.4 cm for a diameter of 5.1 cm at the rim.
base measures approximately 2 inches by 2 inches between opposite sides.
No shocks or cracks: Note only very small chips at the tips of the installation surface and the inevitable micro-scratches under the base.
