Optcore’s OSP4G-8505DCR-CSC is a low-cost replacement of
Cisco DS-SFP-FC4G-SW SFP transceiver. It is a high-performance small form
factor pluggable SFP transceiver module for 4.25Gb/s, 2.125Gb/s and 1.06Gb/s
Fibre Channel (4GFC,2GFC,1GFC) applications in storage area networks. This 4G
fibre channel SFP storage transceiver provides 500m transmission distance over
50/125µm multi-mode fibre at a nominal wavelength of 850nm. The module features
a highly reliable 850nm VCSEL transmitter and PIN photo-detector into duplex LC
optical connector.
The OSP4G-8505DCR-CSC SFP transceiver is programmed and
tested to be compatible with Cisco networking storage switches. It is an ideal
equivalent to Cisco DS-SFP-FC4G-SW 4G fibre channel SW SFP optical module but
with a much lower price, which provides a reliable compatible SFP optical
transceiver solution for system integrator, distributors and end-users in
network infrastructure and fibre cabling.
