awesome, hand colored print of "A New Yorker's Idea of THE UNITED STATES of AMERICA" copyright by Columbia University Bookstore, New York, N.Y. this is a pre-Steinberg version of a New Yorker's view of the world, showing a much deformed map of the US, with a much enlarged Manhattan, numerous Swanee Rivers, Hollywood as a separate state and many more humorous inaccuracies.   the paper has a watermark from Hammermill paper.   

This has the Columbia University Press copyright and is  9 x 12" circa 1939.
