The front features the map of Bahamas, the flower of Lignum vitae (the national tree), a flying owl in green iridescent ink, and Lynden O. Pindling, the Father of the Bahamas Nation. The back features a standing drum major holding a staff and leading the Royal Bahamas police band, and the coat of arms of Bahamas on the upper left corner. The notes security features are a green-to-gold windowed security thread with demetalized $1 ONE, a watermark of Lynden Pindling, and an electrotype watermark $1.
