The Bhutan 1 Ngultrum is part of the family of banknotes issued in 2013 with a pick number P-27b. This replacement banknote comes in uncirculated condition. The obverse depicts dragons and the Khorlo or the Wheel of Dharma which is a symbol of good luck. On the banknotes reverse side is the Simtokha Dzong which was a Buddhist monastery. The banknote which is made of a hybrid composite substrate is 120 x 60 mm in size. It has no security thread and watermark.
