The Saudi Arabia 50 Riyals is part of the 2012 (AH1433) issues. It is dark green in color and measures 155 x 70 mm. The obverse side shows the Al Sakhra Dome mosque and King Abdullah. The reverse side features the Al Aqsa mosque in Al Quds Al Shareef (Jerusalem) and the national emblem (two crossed swords with a palm tree). This banknote uses a windowed security thread with demetalized 50 and Arabic text between wavy lines and contains a watermark with a King Abdullah, electrotype 50, and cornerstones design.
