This convenient and precise, third-hand workstation. The two joint arm holds your work securely up to 8" above the work surface.

The heat-resistant jaw tips are rounded, and their gripping surfaces are angled to meet flush with one another while you are soldering your metal. The tips are replaceable using the allen wrench and replacement tips that are supplied. The base of this unit is nicely weighted, so it is sturdy and less likely to tip over. 

The overall height of the tool is over 8 inches when extended. 

The base measures approximately 2.5 inches square.
