detail on old highway alignments, including U.S. Routes 99 and 101,
with
cartography by H.M. Gousha.
- There are inset plans of Yakima, Seattle,
Tacoma, Spokane, and Olympic and Mount Rainier National Parks, as well
as Vancouver, Victoria, and vicinity.
- This map was distributed by the Shell Oil Company in 1946
and is dated
by the code number in the lower margin: T-8-1946-2. Population data is
from the 1940 census.
- Little red circles on the map locate Shell marine
installations.
- Condition: This map is in very good
condition, with a route marked across the state by Shell's Travel Service and no
