The Saudi Arabia 5 Riyals is part of the 2012 issues. It is violet in color and measures 145 x 66 mm. The obverse side shows the Ras Tanorah oil refinery and King Abdullah. The reverse side features the Jubayl Port in the eastern region and the national emblem (two crossed swords with a palm tree). This banknote uses a windowed security thread with demetalized SAMA 5 and contains a watermark with a King Abdullah, electrotype 5, and cornerstones design. It is graded 67 by the Paper Money Guarantee (PMG).
