The obverse side features King Abdulaziz bin Abdul Rahman bin Faisal Al Saud, the founder of modern Saudi Arabia, and the western gate of Al Masmak Fort. The reverse side features Al Masmak Fort, a key site in the unification of Saudi Arabia. The reverse side also has the centenary logo. The security features of the note are a holographic patch, a solid security thread, and a windowed Starwide security thread. Its watermark is King Abdul Aziz with an electrotype 200. Its dimensions are 163 mm by 73 mm.
