The Thailand 60 Baht banknote was released by the Government of Thailand to commemorate the 60th year of the accession of Rama IX to the throne on June 9, 1946. The obverse of the banknote features the Royal Garuda emblem, the royal seal, and Rama IX wearing a military uniform and the Chakra Dynasty royal robe with the Victory crown and royal regalia. The reverse of the note depicts Rama IX and five students, a dam, three farmers in a rice field, the Royal Garuda emblem, and Rama IX with a folded map, a pen, and a SLR camera. The banknote is 162 x 81 mm in size and has a solid security thread with a demetalized text in Thai. It also has a watermark that reflects Rama IX. This particular paper bill has been graded 66 by the Paper Money Guaranty.
