Its front design features a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, a crenelated castle tower as a registration device, and the national emblem. The reverse side features artist John Trumbulls The Sortie Made by the Garrison of Gibraltar painting depicting Spanish and English troops fighting and General George Eliott with officers attending to the dying Don Josde Barboza during The Great Siege, 1779-1783. The note has a dimension of 141 x 75 mm and contains a windowed security thread with demetallized 10, and a watermark image of Queen Elizabeth II to enhance its security features.
