This Japan 50 Sen banknote was issued during WWII in 1938 with patriotic themes. The obverse side of the note depicts a sunrise view of Mount Fuji with cherry blossoms on the side. The red seal of the Minister of Finance, and the imperial crest. The reverse side features the denomination with a guilloche background and Japanese text. The note measures 105 x 65 mm and does not contain any security threads however a wavy lines watermark is made visible under UV light.
