The Libya 10 Dinar Banknote was released by the Central Bank of Libya in 2011. The obverse of the green banknote is in Arabic and features a crescent and a star, a Jasper hologram, and a portrait of Omar El Mukhtar who led the uprising in Cyrenaica against the Italian colonization. The reverse of the banknote is in English and depicts a crowd and the hilltop fortress in Sabha. The banknote contains a DualTrack windowed security thread with a demetallized 10 and Arabic characters. Its watermark reflects Omar El Mukhtar and an electrotype 10. The paper bill is 156 x 78 mm in size and bears the signature of Al-Siddiq Al-Kabeer. This banknote is in uncirculated condition.
