The Mexico 100 Pesos Series VC banknote was issued by the Bank of Mexico in 1982. The banknote has hints of purple, black, and red. Its obverse features Venustiano Carranza who was the first President of the new Mexican republic. It also portrays three soldiers illustrated in Jose Clemente Orozcos painting called La Trinchera or The Trench. The reverse of the paper bill depicts a coyote and a mountain lion from the frieze of Tula in Hidalgo. It also displays the bank guilloche, a reclining stone figure CHAC MOOL, and the bank seal. The paper bill has no security thread and watermark but bears the signature of Gonzalo Garcia Rodriguez. This paper bill is in uncirculated condition.
