This Zambia 100 Kwacha banknote is part of the Rebased Kwacha series that was issued in 2014. The obverse side of the note features the coat of arms of Zambia along with a fish eagle perched on a branch, a dove, and a fig tree in Kabwe. The reverse side features the Bank of Zambia building in the center, the Freedom Statue of Lusaka on the right, and a leopard on the left. The note measures 145 x 70 mm and is equipped with a holographic LEAD stripe and a windowed security thread to enhance its security features. Placing the note under a UV light would reflect a fish eagle watermark and electrotype 50 with a fish eagle.
