Here are five, metal tabs which folded over your lapel or pocket to promote Herbert Hoover for president back in 1932 when he ran for re-election.  But he lost bigtime to Franklin Roosevelt because of the Stock Market Crash and the beginning of the Great Depression.

We figure these aren't from Hoover's 1928 election because one never sees a tab for Al Smith, his opponent.  But you do find some Hoover and Roosevelt tabs. So 1932 may actually be the premier year for this type of political campaign device.  But can't say for sure because we weren't around then! They are 7/8" wide by .75" high. This is the first batch of five we are listing, which have blue tops.  The other batch have gold tops. They are in nice condition, but please enlarge our images to judge this for yourself so you can be happy with your purchase. They WERE all used and were bent over when we got them, so we straightened them out so you could see them easier. We are members of APIC and sell only authentic presidential (and other collectible) material so buy with confidence. We'll be happy to combine S & H costs on multiple purchases.  Shipping on this will be $4.50, carefully packed, first class with tracking.
