For sale is a 7 inch 45 RPM vinyl single from The Monkees titled "Heart and Soul b/w MGBGT", originally released in 1987 by Rhino Records. I bought this used, professionally cleaned it on my VPI HW-17 maxhine and immediately put it into an archival inner sleeve, then into a storage box for 45 RPM singles, that was kept under optimum conditions for both temperature and humidity until today. The original picture sleeve is graded as Very Good because of tears and wrinkles along the top opening, a 3/4" seam split at the top left hand corner and creased and wrinkled corners.  In the dead wax between the labels and the last tracks, is etched "Kdisc KP" and a Greek alpha "a", followed by "R-18366" and "delta 17343", indicating that this record was mastered at Kdisc Mastering of Hollywood, California by Ken Perry, then lacquered at Sheffield Lab Matrix in Santa Monica, California before it was made at Allied Record's pressing plant, located in Los Angeles, California. These are hallmarks of state-of-the-art engineering, sought after by collectors and music lovers for their superior sound qualities. The vinyl is visually graded as Very Good because of scuffs and sleeve marks. Some of the scuffs on Side One can barely be felt with a fingertip. I'm play grading this record as Very Good because of surface noise, more noticeable during quiet sections of playback, but never over-powering the vocals or the music. It plays all the way through without any skips or lock-ups from start to finish. You would be hard pressed to find a copy of this record in this condition, especially a Allied pressing. This would be a welcome addition to anyone's collection. Please read all descriptions and look at all pictures, as this is a final sale and I do not accept returns. Thank you for viewing my listing.
I've been collecting records for more that 50 years and always clean them before and after playback to keep them in a pristine condition. I try to describe them to the best of my ability and use record grading guidelines like the Goldmine rating system as reference. Since retiring, I've begun to sell my very esoteric collection via my Ebay store (bobsanalogemporium) and will offer discounts for multiple sales. I always pack the items for sale in an archival inner sleeve, then put them in either a Kraft paper bubble mailer with sturdy cardboards or cardboard record mailers, always with the records separate from the jackets or its original picture sleeve, then sandwiched between sturdy cardboards before shipping. Please read all descriptions carefully and note all pictures before-hand, as I do not accept returns. Please visit my Ebay store for records, 45's, cassette tapes and comics of all different genres. They're predominately Near Mint. Thank you viewing my listing.
