The eighth volume in the "Collections Rythmes et Couleurs".    Quite a scarce edition.

A splendid French-language vintage art book dealing with the Tahiti pictures of Gaugin, with tipped in colour illustrations.  Accompanying text in French by Schneeberger.  Pre-owned but both book and jacket are still in very good condition.

Pictorial dust jacket still very good - a little darkened with age, some light edge wear - light creases, scuffs and nicks.  Folds are not clipped.  

Boards also in very good condition.  Grey / cream cloth with gilt titling to front and spine.  A little darkened with age at the very top edge.  End papers very good - a little light toning with age.  Internally also very good - a little toned, but pages clean and tight.  The tipped in illustrations of Gaugin's pictures look in excellent condition.  

A nice example of this volume in the Swiss-published "Rythmes and Couleurs" series.
