Photograph Notes: This ex-British Army Airportable military vehicle from 1979 was on display at the Maxey Classic Car and Bike Show in August 2021. Also known as the Land Rover Half-Ton or Land Rover Lightweight, a total of 37,897 of these vehicles were manufactured by Land Rover for the British Army and Allied military forces between 1968 and 1984. According to the owner's information, this particular example was stationed in Northern Ireland for the entirety of its service life until being decommissioned by the Army in 1992.
