First hardcover edition, signed and lettered by Hawkins out of 26 copies; rather than a colophon, the letter is simply written below Hawkins' signature. This is copy "R." Uneven sunning/fading to the front cover near the spine of the jacket, which is housed in a Brodart cover. All in all near fine aside from the fading. Scarce in hardcover.
