This is an original antique French railway poster advertising rail trips from France to Wales.

It was made for London and North Western Railway and PLM (Chemins de fer de Paris à Lyon et à la Méditerranée).

It was printed by Courmont Frères in Paris and dates to around 1910.

The image was designed by Clement Aunston. Amidst the dramatic Aberglaslyn Pass, it depicts a country woman knitting in traditional Welsh dress as a stagecoach thunders by.

The poster has been linen backed for future preservation. Traces of restoration are visible, but overall, it's in very nice condition for its age. Please have a good look at the photos to ensure you're happy with the condition.

It measures around 111cm x 80.5cm including the linen. The actual poster itself is around 105.5 x 75cm.

It'll be securely posted in a rigid tube the next working day.
