Stainless steel adapter is much stronger than the multitude of 3D printed adapter options in plastic. Have confidence when you shift!

For those in any doubt this listing does not include the sim gearbox :)

The problem: I want to put a real gear knob on my driving force Logitech shifter. The same shifter used for the G29, the G920 an G923 variations of the Logitech wheel.

The Logitech OEM gear knob is made of plastic and reduces the realism when your racing or drifting on tarmac or mud.
My original solution to the problem was to turn to my 3D printer.
Even when I printed in the strongest material it didn't pass my usual strength test and a number of designs snapped or wobbled after a while.
I moved to stainless steel to replicate the OEM look and to give the design an inherent strength vs plastic

The gear knob that I have sourced fits perfectly and looks awesome. Its 100% aluminium and has a diameter of 47mm. Its reminiscent of the EP3 Civic type R gear knob

I will gratefully listen to all feedback

Fitting Instructions
  1. Gently pry the plastic cap off of your Logitech gear shifter using a flat blade.

  2. Use a Philips screwdriver to undo the screw underneath and remove the OEM knob

  3. Screw the adapter into place. Use the slot at the top to secure

  4. Add your choice of M10 1.5 gear knob.
