This is basically the ultimate U47 clone, because it's made like an original Neumann U47 using the exact same parts and circuitry except for the tube which was replaced by a more effective EF12. You can read about why this tube is a better option that the original VF14 here : 

Those U47 were made in limited quantities by mr Wagner in the late 80s/early 90s. Wagner worked at Neumann and was an official maintenance guy for the U47 until he realised he had all the parts and knowledge to make a copy himself. He eventually ran out of original parts and stopped making those. This is a rare chance to grab one, almost like buying an original tube U47 brand new (it was very rarely used).
