Dimensions 1/2  by 1/2  Inch      NOTE: Authorized to Sell at Wholesale Price

This  Pair of Carefully Selected Kingman Natural Turquoise is cut and polished to a brilliant finish and is carefully drilled by Lester Abeyta and attached to sterling silver shepherds hooks.  I bought these earrings directly from Lester at his home in the Santo Domingo Pueblo.  Lester showed me as I watched him cut the turquoise by hand.

Their original Native American Indian Name was Kewa, but about 400 years ago the Spanish changed the name of the Pueblo to Santo Domingo.  They recently changed their Tribal Name Back to the original Kewa.  Lester learned from his father, Richard Abeyta.  The Abeyta family have been making turquoise jewelry for centuries-since before the arrival of the Spanish.
