This marvelous numbered limited edition of this classic work by Laurence Housman is #270 of an edition of 325.  It is fabulously illustrated with 50 aquatints by Edmund Dulac (including one on the front cover).  The book was printed by Van Holkema and Warendorf in Amsterdam in 1908. It is printed on hand laid paper and hardbound in linen and consists of 99 pages.  The overall size of the bound book is 11.5" x 12.77" x 1.5" (thick).  The linen cover of the book is distressed as seen in our photo.  The spine is worn, somewhat stained and and partially loose on the right joint. The wear to the spine has somewhat obscured the black printed lettering.  The front cover has some water stains but the lettering is clear and bold.  The Dulac aquatint on the cover is a bit worn but is still vibrant.  The paper covering the front joint is partially split but the joint is secure.  There are a few foxed spots throughout the book but nothing particularly noticeable.  Aside from one tiny corner fold, the Dulac aquatints are in excellent condition.  There are no rips, folds or other damage on text of this book.  I would rate the book as good with the above issues recognized.
