A SPECIAL VICTORY: A HELMET THAT CARRIES GREAT MEMORIES" - The 2002 World Championship marked the beginning of a new era in MotoGP™, a genuine revolution, with the arrival of 990cc four-stroke motorbikes for the first time, a revolution accompanied by the total domination of Valentino Rossi and his Honda RC211V, who earned his fourth world title clearly ahead of his every opponent.
The fourth set of graphics in the “Vale’s Helmets” project replicates those used during the 2002 Brazilian Grand Prix at Jacarepaguà, a tough race, held and won in the wet, which gave the Doctor his final victory.
These truly unique graphics have entered history as being among the most eccentric creations of Valentino and AGV, a special helmet that tells two stories.
The upper part, designed by Aldo Drudi, features a black and white interpretation of Valentino Rossi’s Soleluna and the rainbow, encountering a hand-painted, multi-coloured work of art that celebrates imagination and creativity.
The graphics were worn only once and never replicated, but are now available as a limited edition on the most advanced racing helmet in the world.
Please Note: The Limited Edition will bear the same graphics as Rossi's helmet, with the exception of other sponsors’ logos and the visor components and accessories.
