This is the Foam Insert Concave. No lead. I plugged the ends of the lures and the 9" floats. The 7 inch sank but with almost "0" Buoyancy, it moves with no effort at all in the water. The 9 inch lure was first run in the "Ahi Fever 2008" (on Google Search). June 14, 15 2008. Saturday it caught a 159 pound Yellowfin Tuna "4th Place" and a 300 pound Marlin. This lure was run as a "Bonus" 6th line, 2nd wave back next to the Prop Wash. This Lure Smokes and when it goes under, it Wiggles like it does not want to be there. There is a small explosion when it resurfaces. This lure is a Smoker. A Winner. I sent the 7 inch to a friend in CA and it Runs and Smokes good. The 9 inch Lure weighs 3.4 ounces, dressed. The 7 inch Lure weighs 2.2 ounces, dressed. I will make all the Concave Lures with Foam inserts from now.
This is gaining popularity, even locally. I had requests for it even after it sold out.
