This is a reprint of the well known Froschauer Bible first printed in Zurich Switzerland in the early 16th century. This translation of the Bible was devised by Ulrich Zwingli and was the preferred translation for the Anabaptists. It became a forbidden book in Europe and many were confiscated and destroyed. This copy was printed in 2011 and was copied from the 1536 edition. Nice hardcover w/ dust jacket. A very scholarly work brought on by the Hutterites of America. Like new. Very little use. Likely the nicest reprint ever done of the Zurich Bible. Questions please ask.
