Oilcloth is an amazing fabric for crafters, whether making oilcloth bags, tote bags, peg bags, make-up bags, aprons or even outdoor cushions. These 2kg bags of Oilcloth offcuts are perfect for experienced crafters or those just starting out. Each bag has a mixture of designs and sizes and we cannot be specific on which designs go inside. Most are on average A4 or A5 and some are slightly curved (perfect for Oilcloth bunting). There will at times be larger pieces in each bag but there will be enough to ensure you can make small craft projects. *Please note that all bags are pre-packed so we cannot split them to put specific designs in. As crafters ourselves we try to ensure the pieces in the bags are usable but there are no pieces over 50cm in any of the bags.

Sewing With Oilcloth

Sewing with Oilcloth can be greatly rewarding but also frustrating when doing it for the first time. We recommend that any pieces that might be slightly creased to iron them on a low heat on the reverse side. We also recommend investing in some small rotary cutters. Olfa are a good brand to use and they come in a range of sizes. We also recommend a roller foot for your sewing machine as this will allow the fabric to run normally through the machine.
