Pair of small SATSUMA vases with traditional 19th century decor on a delicate earthenware background. (picture 1).
They are from the Meiji period and are decorated with different characters, scholars, rakan or warriors painted with great finesse.
The two vases are not painted with the same characters in the same places, which attests to artisanal and non-industrial production.
The dimensions are as follows:

We can notice a trace of mark in red under the hollow base of one of the two vases (see photo 7)

Weight: approximately 400 grams for the pair, without packaging
