1802 (May, 13) – LICENSE – Exciting His Royal Provision of November 3, 1681, that henceforth no sugar mill should be built again, in the State of Brazil, without preceding the license of the Governors of the respective Captaincies : Ordering, yes, that the entire Engenho, which is built, and raised again against the form established in this same Alvará, be demolished in whatever state it is in, as soon as its clandestine construction is denounced.
