The Argentina 1 Austral banknote is part of the family of notes issued in 1985 - 1989 bearing a design specifically for the austral currency. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition. The obverse of the note features Bernardino Rivadavia who was the first president of Argentina. On the banknotes reverse is the seated Liberty called Progreso holding a torch, with a banner and a shield, and surrounded with laurels. The Coat of Arms is also shown on this 155 x 65 mm banknote. This paper bill has a sunburst pattern watermark.
