You can just use one if your place is not large.

To install AC-1304 as a single WiFi Point Router, you will need: 

1. Ethernet cable to connect to modem2. A regular USB-C power cable to power it on3. Google home app installed on your phone

After you install the single wifi point router, you can also install another AC-1304 as to extend the range. All you need is another USB-C cable and Google home app for installation.
