The One Tree Hill Allotment Society, located in the London Borough of Southwark, was formed during the Second World War's Dig for Victory campaign. Having an allotment on a steep clay hillside means terracing and lots of mulching are absolutely essential parts of daily life. The site gets full sun from sunrise till late in the afternoon.
