I tested these shears by:
  1. Cutting paper which it did with razor precision.
  2. Next, using the same pair, I cut a penny in half. 
  3. Recut the paper, still with razor precision as the shears held their edge superbly.
  4. Took the same pair and easily cutdown the side of a of leather combat boot.
  5. Cut the paper again one more time and they cut like a champ with razor precision.
