"As a professional hair and makeup artist I am CONSTANTLY changing my hair color, way more than I should. So it is very important to me that I use the best shampoo, conditioner and styling products for my current hair trend. A while back I decided that I was going to go WHITE WHITE with my hair. Not grey, not blonde, not platinum... WHITE. I achieved this look, it was beautiful. BUT due to the the amount of processing I had to be VERY careful as to what shampoos and products I used, as the prcoessing opens the cuticle of the hair and sometimes overly processed hair will absorb the purple color of the shampoo that is meant to tone it. So, being cautious and resorting to my ultimate go to brand, Matrix, I tried the Color OBsessed So Silver Toning Shampoo. Its amazing. It effectively kept my hair looking like it had just been lightened, there were no brassy tones, no yellow tones, it moisturized and added proteins to my hair to make it look silky smooth as opposed to looking like straw. It also made my hair look like it shimmered in the sunlight. I love the fact that this shampoo cleansed my hair without drying it out, and that it neutralized all brassy and yellow tones leaving my hair looking beautiful and radiant."
"Basically, I had blond highlights a few times in the last few months. Then, to test this shampoo, I used it twice a week for 4 weeks. It is also noted that I have thin and fine hair that goes under my armpits. As recommended, I used plastic gloves with each use which didn't bother me at all ! First, only a small amount of this creamy and purple shampoo is needed to cover the entire head . The formula is rich, moss very well and smells like heaven : floral+sweet ! I really enjoy this scent ! While I dreaded that my hair mingle terribly during the rinse given the type of treatment and my hair type and then they dry up and get damaged, it was none of this on the contrary !! So, in addition to neutralizing yellow glare and unwanted copper highlights, this product doesn't entangle or even damage hair !!! Wow! It was suggested to do the shampoo twice, but I only did one but deep and it lasted more than 5 minutes. After four weeks of testing this product, I can easily say that there is not much yellow on my yellowish locks ! There are even some white locks which I like pretty much ! Aqua / Water / Eau, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Sodium Chloride, Coco-Betaine, Glycol Distearate, Dimethicone, Cocamide Mipa, Sodium Benzoate, Hexylene Glycol, Parfum / Fragrance, Salicylic Acid, Carbomer, CI 60730 / Ext. Violet 2, Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride, Sodium Hydroxide, Citric Acid.
Wearing suitable gloves, apply to wet hair, lather and rinse well. Repeat if necessary. For maximum benefits, leave second lather on 3-5 minutes. Follow with Total Results So Silver conditioner.
Precautions: This product contains ingredients which may cause skin irritation on certain individuals and a preliminary test according to accompanying directions should first be made. If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water. Keep out of reach of children. Do not ingest. Wear disposable gloves when applying. Wash hands thoroughly after use. Do not use on sensitive or irritated scalps. Perform the following skin allergy test 48 hours before each use of this product, as allergies can develop suddenly, even though you or your client has previously used a haircolor product from this brand or another. Skin allergy test: with soap and water, wash an area the size of a quarter in the bend of your/your client's elbow. Pat dry with absorbent cotton. Apply product to test area, using an absorbent cotton-tipped applicator. Let test spot dry. You should not wash, cover or disturb for 48 hours. You should examine test area periodically over the next 48 hours. If you or your client experiences any reactions - such as redness, burning, itching, swelling skin abrasions, eruptions or irritation in or around the test area, you should not use this product or any other haircolor until after consulting a doctor.
