Top quality silver plate in a nice circular melon form with pierced rim and applied grape, leaf and vine pattern around the perimeter.

The dish measures 9-5/8"(24.4cm) in diameter at its widest, 2-1/4"(5.7cm) deep to the rim and approximately 5"(12.7cm) tall to the finial. The combined weight of the dish and lid is 1.8lbs(857grams).

The underside carries clear marks including the BIRKS logo and 'RIDEAU PLATE'.

Condition overall is excellent with very minimal signs of age/use. One tiny 'dint', slight enough that is not possible to convey in photos, is basically indiscernible in normal light and mentioned only out of clarity.
