Unique Blue White Boxy Shaped Porcelain Teapot Spout Handle Plaid Japan 3 1/2”.

This is a very unique teapot that is marked made in Japan on the bottom. The teapot measures 3 1/2” tall and 4 3/4” tall to the top of the lid. From handle to spout this teapot measures 7”. The body of the tea pot is 4 1/4“ x 3“. It is very old and the paint appears to have crackles. Please look at the pictures for full details.

The only defects I can find appear to have been made during creation. The inside lip of the lid has a divet in it. Please see pictures as I have zoomed in on that particular point. Also on the handle there appears to be a couple of bubbles that were also made during creation. Overall this is a very unique and beautiful piece.
