The original NeXT Sound Cards where either in NeXT Sony 4000a or 4000b Mono Monitors or NeXT Sound boxes

both are now rare.

The NeXT keyboard or a custom keyboard adaptor has to plug into a NeXT compatible sound card

and  The power key for all NeXT 68K  hardware is located on the keyboard

or a custom NeXT to USB adaptor for keyboard /mouse and  power switch.
