NO PEDALS BEING SOLD HERE.  THIS IS A CUSTOM UPGRADE KIT For 507 Union Pedals

See Key To Photo's Bellow.

The import vintage pedals look pretty poor on an old or custom bike / moped.  Designed for me, now you can have a set of 4 grips.   Photos show the imported (marked Tiawan) pedal I bought here on eBay and procedure for replacing the grips with reflector-less versions.

NO PEDALS ARE INCLUDED.  You must have or purchase separately 507 Union Pedals to upgrade.

What you get are 4 GRIPS and hardware you install as shown in YOUR OWN 507 PEDALS.

Made by additive manufacturing from sun safe plastic (ASA or PETG).  Parts are 100% solid.  Expect other products to be hollow and made from corn plastic (PLA).  My parts will not melt (like typical PLA) and contain no secret cavities to save me 5 cents.   I give you solid parts.  They are designed to look and work good for a long time.

KEY TO PHOTOS
Photo 1, 2 and 3 show various views of my red grip set installed in a 507 type pedal.  You get enough pars and hardware to convert 2 pedals of your own.   4 Grips, 4 Stainless Bolts, 4 Stainless Nuts.

Photo 4 & 5 shows how my pedals started out.  These come in many colors, both plated and black from sellers here on eBay.

Photo 6 shows center punch in middle of rivet on threaded end of pedal.  Each pedal has 2, punch them all.  This helps with drilling the head off.  A nifty procedure.  You are learning how to remove rivets.

Photo 7 shows drilling out rivet.  You can hold pedal in vice and use an electric drill.  I am using a drill press here.  Use a 3/16" drill bit.  Watch for a crack to appear down inside the shallow depression, this is when you've cut off the head.  Use a punch or drift to knock it out if it does not fall out.

Photo 8 shows me removing the flange or flair on the pedal bracket that was hiding under the rivet flair we just drilled off.   This needs to be ground flush or cut off with a chamfer or large drill bit tip.  Chamfer bit shown and highly recommended if you don't have one in your drilling tools.  Lots of uses!

Photo 9 shows disassembled parts with those ugly reflector grips I am trying to rid myself of.  ;-)

Photo 10 shows me using provided hardware to secure new solid grips in place.  Now I am the coolest dude in my city...........(we'll, maybe the coolest dude on my street.)

Photo 11 shows modified pedals on my custom high performance Tomos moped.  (Note!  You provide your own 507 pedals - custom moped or bike.  You're not getting mine.)

If you made it this far, you know everything there is to know.  ;-)
