Photograph Notes: This long wall forms the boundary between Cirencester Park and the A419. The stretch of road it adjoins is, sadly, something of an accident blackspot and the old wall has been part rebuilt several times due to impact by vehicles; although the rebuilding is in fact mostly due to weathering. The varied levels result from there never being enough stone left when a wall is rebuilt as some is inevitably lost through breaking up of the limestone by frost.
