What does Pasilla taste like?

Well this complex chile pepper is the dried form of the chilaca pepper, a long slender pepper that is grown in Mexico that when fully mature are dark brown in color. In its dried form, pasilla, is described as having tasting notes like sweet raisins, prunes, berries, and even cocoa.
