The Nina Otero-Warren Quarter is the fourth coin in the series. She was a leader in New Mexico’s suffrage movement and the first female superintendent of Santa Fe public schools.

Otero-Warren emphasized the necessity of using the Spanish language in the suffrage fight in order to reach Hispanic women. She also spearheaded the lobbying effort to ratify the 19th Amendment in New Mexico.
The reverse (tails) features an image of Nina Otero-Warren on the left, flanked by three individual Yucca flowers – New Mexico’s state flower.
Otero-Warren strove to improve education for all New Mexicans, working especially to advance bicultural education and to preserve cultural practices among the state’s Hispanic and Native American communities.

2022 PDS Wilma Mankiller American Women 3 New Clad
The Wilma Mankiller Quarter was the third coin in the series she was the first woman elected principal chief of the Cherokee Nation and an activist for Native American and women’s rights.
The reverse (tails) depicts Wilma Mankiller with a resolute gaze to the future. The wind is at her back, and she is wrapped in a traditional shawl. To her left is the seven-pointed star of the Cherokee Nation.

One General George Washington Crossing the Delaware Quarter featuring an obverse (heads) design that marks a return to the familiar depiction of George Washington by John Flanagan as it appeared on the quarter from 1932 to 1998.
The image was modified for the 50 State Quarters, the DC and U.S. Territories Quarter, and the America the Beautiful Quarters Programs. In this revived depiction, Washington’s portrait is larger, and with higher relief.
The reverse (tails) design features General George Washington commanding his troops through the overnight crossing of the ice-choked Delaware River prior to the Battle of Trenton during the American Revolutionary War.

Field control tower in the background. The pilot looks upward with pride and confidence as two P-51 Mustangs pass overhead.

This design depicts elements of the Spanish Colonial Real coin to pay tribute to the missions. Within the quadrants are symbols of the missions: wheat symbolizes farming; the arches and bell symbolize community; a lion represents Spanish cultural heritage; and a symbol of the San Antonio River represents irrigation methods and life-sustaining resources.
