P.S.I. MANTOVA OVERPRINTS are from Pre-Republic “LUOGOTENENZA” in
post-Fascist Italy, 1945. These are ‘City-Rule stamps’ issued by Mantova
Comitato di Liberazione Nazionale (CLN) five months after the
fall
of Fascism, as authorized by the Allied Military Government.
