Rare G Spence fork set. These forks are early silver plate from circa 1860. Each fork is hand hallmarked with the "G SPENCE" banner mark in a slightly different location. The hallmark is the same one stamped onto his coin silver work seen in 1855. Gaven(also know as Gavin) Spence operated out of Newark, New Jersey.

There are three forks that measure 7-1/16" and one that measures 7-3/8" and all have identical hand engraved monograms. Forks are used but not abused. Plate is worn off on some places. See pictures for specific condition.
