An ANTIQUE SAD IRON IRONING TOOL WITH INSTRUCTIONS is now at this time up for your consideration. This iron has no visible maker's marks for positive identification. A wire pin in the front (photos 7, 8 & 9) locks the top, back-folding handle, with a heat- shield/guard where live chunks of coal are loaded into to heat the iron for use. (see photo) PLEASE VIEW ALL 14 PHOTOS as they constitute an integral part of this listing's description. The iron's wood handle is in perfect condition and the iron itself is, for the most part, totally free from any rusting areas.

Potential buyers please note that most of my items are antique, vintage and/or used and wear will be commensurate with age which I procure from estate sales, auctions, flea markets, thrift stores and antique shops. Many times items are sold in the same condition that I find them if they are ANTIQUE or VINTAGE in composition or of high fragility.
