    • Application

    For external use only, do not bring into the eyes and mucous membranes. The medicine is applied directly to the scalp or to the diseased areas. Massage the applied solution well into the scalp with your fingertips under slightly circular movements.

    Contraindications

    The medicine should not be used
    - if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to alfaltradiol or any of the other ingredients.

    Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.

    The following frequencies are used for the evaluation of side effects:

    Uncommon: less than 1 in 100 but more than 1 in 1000 people
    Rare: less than 1 in 1000, but more than 1 in 10,000 people
    Very rare: less than 1 in 10,000 people, or unknown

    Due to the alcohol content, short-term burning or redness and itching on the scalp can occur. During the application period, the scalp can become oilier rather than drier.


    If any of the side effects gets serious, or if you notice any side effects not listed, please tell your doctor or pharmacist.

    Dosage

    Always use the medicine exactly as instructed. Please check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

    Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, the usual dose is:
    3ml are applied once a day, preferably in the evening. After improving hair loss or symptoms of illness, the application can be reduced to every second to third day. This is not expected until one month at the earliest.

    Duration of application:
    An improvement in hair loss is expected at the earliest after one month. There is no clinical evidence of efficacy and tolerability with longer use for more than 1 year. A longer application should therefore only be carried out after consultation with a doctor. It has not been studied how long the effect of the preparation lasts after discontinuation.

    Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect is too strong or too weak.

    Forgotten application
